End of the Semester Wrap Up

Throughout this semester, I have learned a lot of things about social media and different types of software programs.  One of my favorite classes that. we had was the class where we got to learn about VR and AR.  It was so cool to have guest speakers show us first hand how VR works.  I really learned a lot that class and it influenced me so much that I am going to get myself and oculus.  We had many guest speakers throughout the semester but, my favorite guest speaker was Dave Sholler.  I felt like I could really relate to the experiences he was talking about.  He is a Stockton alum and it is really crazy to see someone that went to the same school as me be that successful.  I really enjoyed every class because I felt like our professor was able to keep us engaged no matter what the topic was.  Whether it was making a quick powerpoint, or listening to guest speaker, there was always something to keep me engaged in what went on in the class.  My only complaint about the class is that I wish the social media etiquette project was a little shorter in page length.  It took me a while to come up with enough solid content to reach the minimum page length.  I thought the project was a great project to help us research and really understand the effects of social media, but I thought the page length of the paper was a little long.  I really wish this semester wasn't online because I feel like this class would have been great in person.  In person classes really allow you to connect with your professor and with online classes, I feel like I don’t get that same opportunity.  Ultimately, this class was a great class and I learned so many things that I never thought I would learn about.  I really enjoyed the class and I would recommend everyone to take it.
