End of the Semester Wrap Up     Throughout this semester, I have learned a lot of things about social media and different types of software programs.  One of my favorite classes that. we had was the class where we got to learn about VR and AR.  It was so cool to have guest speakers show us first hand how VR works.  I really learned a lot that class and it influenced me so much that I am going to get myself and oculus.  We had many guest speakers throughout the semester but, my favorite guest speaker was Dave Sholler .  I felt like I could really relate to the experiences he was talking about.  He is a Stockton alum and it is really crazy to see someone that went to the same school as me be that successful.  I really enjoyed every class because I felt like our professor was able to keep us engaged no matter what the topic was.  Whether it was making a quick powerpoint, or listening to guest speaker, there was always something to ke...

Guest Speakers     This week in class we discussed a really cool topic known as VR and AR.  Luckily we had two really amazing guest speakers that were able to help us understand how these realities work.  Our first guest speaker was Jamie Donally . Jamie was a former math teacher and now she currently teaches others about technology.  She has also recently become someone who is really interested in AR and VR.  At first, she explained the difference between the two realities and then she talked to the class about how useful this technology is in the medical field and in education.  Using this technology really lets you dive into your own world and get hands on opportunities with things you might need to learn in the future.       The other guest speaker we had was Chris Madsen . Chris is one of the people that work on the VR experience known as Engage .  He brought us into the world of Engage and showed us all the content...

6 Things You Must Not Wear To a Job Interview     Interviews are very important and they are an essential part of any job application.  It doesn't matter if you have amazing credentials or a degree from an amazing University, employers want to see the type of person you are.  They want to know if you will fit in with their company and and the people that work that.  Besides being a good speaker and someone that knows their stuff, dressing for the occasion is very important.  One important thing to know is that you should never go into a job interview wearing something that is bright and flashy.  If you wear something flashy, this could bring a lot of negative attention to you and it could hurt your chances of getting the job you want.  Another important thing to know is that you should definitely stay away from clothes that are skin tight.  You want to have a professional look and skin tight clothes give off an opposite impression....

Nick Moutos     Social media is one of the most used tools in society today.  Social media has given everyone in the world the power to contact each-other within seconds.  Social media has both positive and negative affects on people and their professional lives.  Nick Moutos has experienced both of these effects and his actions on social media have led him down a dark path.  Nick Moutos is the former assistant attorney general and he was recently fired from that position due to his actions on twitter.  Moutos was using Twitter to promote a huge part of his campaign for the district election of Texas.  Many people went back through his timeline while he was campaigning for the election, and they found old tweets that are socially unacceptable. Many of his past tweets were attacking minorities and had content involving racial slurs.  The Office of the Attorney General Immediately terminated him and his relations with them.  Now Ni...
